This is a painting about native flowers that grow in the Central Desert after a big rain. The grass turns green and the flowers bloom. Local Aboriginal people know when they see the flowers that the bush berries growing on the plant will be ready to harvest. Women collect the bush berries, this knowledge of finding and identifying the bush tucker is passed down through the generations.
