This painting tells the story of bush tomatoes growing in Central Australia. After a big rain the bush tomato plants bloom with bright yellow flowers. Soon after, small green fruits start to grow. These fruits are not ready to eat until they turn a yellow-brown colour. That’s when they are ripe and full of flavor.
