After the rain Aboriginal women in remote Central Australian communities go out hunting for bush foods. This painting is a story about women gathering bush tomatoes.

The women walk across country to find this fruit. They find the fresh ripe yellow bush tomato and some dried brown bush tomato, both are ready to eat. The bush tomato plant is native to the dry climate in central Australia, it has purple and yellow flowers and green leaves.

The women learn from their Elders about finding the bush food and pass that knowledge on.
